Why Her Next Position?
Careers and money don’t move forward by accident. They move forward when women understand where they stand and choose where to place themselves next. Her Next Position is built on that idea.
In work, your position shapes influence, progression, and pay. In money, your position shapes risk, growth, and long-term security. In both, progress comes less from doing more and more from deliberate placement.
The name reflects a shift away from reactive decisions, hustle culture, and advice that treats every problem as a motivation issue. Instead, it centres on clarity, judgment, and timing — understanding the landscape before acting.
Her Next Position represents ownership: of career choices, financial decisions, and where time, energy, and capital are placed.
This work exists to help women stop guessing and start positioning themselves intentionally, so progress compounds rather than stalls.
Because real progress isn’t random. It’s positioned.

About me
I’m Lisa. I work at the intersection of career strategy and wealth building for women, drawing on more than 20 years inside large, complex organisations.
My career has been spent in roles where decisions about pay, promotions, leadership appointments, and long-term workforce strategy are actually made. I’ve worked on compensation design, salary progression frameworks, executive onboarding, and leadership development across global businesses. I’ve seen clearly what moves careers forward, what stalls them, and how often talent alone is not enough.
My background spans accounting (CIMA), strategic HR (CIPD Level 7), and Business & Technology (BSc). That means I understand both the numbers and the systems behind them. I know how organisations think about money, risk, and progression, and how those same principles apply to personal finances and investing.
Her Next Position was created because these systems are rarely explained clearly, especially to women. Instead of motivation or generic advice, the focus here is on structure, order, and practical decisions that hold up over time. The aim is not to work harder or become an expert, but to put the right foundations in place so progress becomes more predictable.
Everything shared here is based on what works in real careers and real financial lives. This is not theory. It’s a calm, realistic approach to building clarity, confidence, and long-term security without adding more pressure.
If you’re looking for a grounded way to grow your career and wealth that fits real life, you’re in the right place.
